About Me
In using Photography, Printmaking, Design, Drawing, Ceramics and Craft making I am able to transform my materials into curious creations that are strongly manifested by my connection to the natural world.
Concentration is devoted to patterns, symbols, process, geometry, symmetry, and color theory.
All imagery is found from fieldwork, I spend a great deal of time exploring dense forests, walking through meadows filled with blossoming flowers and a variety of insects flying among them, and in flowing or dried up creeks that offer visual and mental stimulation for me to make art. During and after my observations I meditate on my experiences, with the intent to transfer peaceful energy into each object that I make.
Nature, science, spirituality, folklore, and Pagan philosophy influence the work. With the focus on the innate aspects of wonderment by conducting thought experiments, activating my playful imagination, and embracing whimsical notions to inspire me to make art that can offer a lively sense of healing.
Everything is purposely made to be one of a kind and to provide a visual source that evokes delightful mystery. The main objective is to materialize positive energy and balance through my work as an offering of good vibrations to the universe.
